Such lovely smooth coats, these two had.

313. Wide-Angle
Finally going to get round to finishing off this project! I've had such a lot of paid photography work to do over the last few weeks that I haven't had time to take or edit much for this. I'll be making amends this week, however. Here is a wide-angle family portrait shot from one of my recent jobs. It was such fun to work with this family but, with 10 adults and 4 children, getting them all into one frame certainly did require a wide-angle!

180. Humour
Okay, so I actually took this photograph over a week ago, but I hadn't yet got round to opening it and posting it. My friend's daughter is happy to have her photo taken, but she's got a real sense of humour about it!

150. Comfort
Yesterday's gorgeous little boy's equally gorgeous older brother...taking classic comfort from a bit of thumb sucking action. So sweet.

149. Innocence
This shot was taken over the weekend when I met up with a group of my lovely school friends and their expanding broods! It is so wonderful that I am still in touch with these girls - some of whom I have known for almost 20 years - and get to share these precious moments. This little one is only 5 months old and so placid and calm. I love how the light is reflecting in his wide eyes.

131. Boy
After yesterday's post of big sister, here is one of a very lovely little boy, who spent the day walking, climbing and playing with gadgets - as little boys love to do.

130. Girl
Over the bank holiday weekend we met up with our friends and their two kids. This little lady was enjoying reading in the sun, all dressed in pink and sparkly things.

112. Bright
This is my friend Litsa, who came to visit this weekend. I made the poor girl traipse into a rapeseed field, in the mud - and rain - to get a photo of her. The light wasn't great but she still manages to look beautiful. Next time I'll remember my reflector.

100. Contrast
Even though this isn't the 'done' thing with portrait photography, I really like the contrast of the light on one side of my mum's face here and the other half almost in shadow. It creates more drama in the shot.

98. Retro
A couple of days ago I did a little portrait shoot for friend and composer Ryan Calmus. This is one of the shots - I've edited it to look 'cross-processed', with high contrast and reduced the warm tones. It creates a really retro feel.

87. Zany
This guy was loving having his picture snapped at the weekend, as he played away in the sun. He had a really vibrant, zany character. So cool.

79. How I see myself...
I'm using one of the Scavenger Hunt Sunday shots to fit this theme as it is pretty much how everyone sees me nowadays! I am the one who is behind the camera! On a slightly deeper level, it is increasingly becoming how I see myself, particularly as I am taking steps to improve my skills. I can't see myself without a camera in my life.

73. Animal
Adorable. Waiting patiently for his owner to return, outside a cafe - and just because he was so beautiful, here's another...

70. Eating
This weekend we have been down in Minehead for ATP Festival. This was my favourite part - fish and chips on the pier.

59. Radiant
This one was a winner for me in terms of the beautiful, late afternoon sunlight, illuminating Anna's hair. Radiant.

58. Portrait
Okay, so not one shot today, but after having so much fun doing a portrait and product shoot with my very photogenic friend Anna, I really couldn't choose. Anna is a local craft artist and fellow teacher, who is taking brave steps towards making a living from the creative pursuits she loves. You can find her over at Annie's Delight and at craft fairs around the South West. Do pop over and say hello!
