273. Leisure

I had a very leisurely day in Oxford with Laura yesterday - browsing the shops, enjoying coffee and cake and taking a few snaps. Lovely.

272. Unfinished

Building works going on in Oxford.

271. Building

Beautiful Radcliffe Camera in Oxford.

270. Bridge

This is Hertford College Bridge in Oxford - widely know as Oxford's 'Bridge of Sighs' because of its resemblance to Venice's Bridge of Sighs.

269. Tourist

Actually, my friend isn't really a tourist in Oxford at all - but she does look like one here, with the Radcliffe Camera reflected in her eyes. It's a favourite spot for tourists to take in the beautiful architecture and grandeur of the famous city.

267. Treasure

My current favourite thing...this was my great grandmother's necklace. Such a treasured possession.

261. Worn

On two counts, these costumes are or were 'worn' - they were worn by Daniel Radcliffe during the filming of the Harry Potter films and they get progressively more worn and tatty in stages, as the character moves through the film.

260. Adolescence

Some of the costumes of the teenage characters from the Harry Potter film franchise.

259. School

The Great Hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

258. Automotive

An automotive piece from the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - this vehicle was used to take the characters down into the vaults of Gringotts Bank.

257. Vehicle

The Knight Bus - as seen in 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'.

256. Packaging

Some of the amazingly detailed packaging used as props on the sets of the Harry Potter films.

255. Ticket

I had such a fantastic day on Thursday at the Harry Potter studio tour at Leavesden. So interesting and a real treat for a fan like me to see all the sets and props up close.

254. Pleasure

My mum looks pretty pleased to be on the beach in the sun - it was certainly my pleasure to show her around this lovely part of Pembrokeshire.

253. Solitude

This beach was completely empty when Mum and I walked along it. So peaceful and lovely.

252. Unforgettable

On our trip to Ramsey Island, we saw lots of seals and their pups on the beaches. These seals were in the water, right near our boat, having a 'swimming lesson'. It was amazing to be so close to them.

251. Recreation

I just spent a lovely weekend in Pembrokeshire with my mum. While we were there, we took a boat out to Ramsey Island to see the wildlife. We also spotted some kayakers, out for a Saturday trip.

245. Strange

I think this looks like something strange from another world, particularly with the light flare. It is actually an erosion hole on a piece of rock by the sea at Polperro. The sunlight is shining onto the rock pool behind, casting the reflection on the water up through the hole, and creating the lens flare.
